CARMI – The Carmi Police Department released the following information on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

Twenty-eight-year-old Shelby J. Holloman of Carmi was arrested on Stewart Street at 5th Street at around 11 a.m. on February 13 after an officer viewed her on a bike and knew she was wanted on a White County warrant for Criminal Trespass to Residence. Holloman’s bond was set at $250 plus a booking fee. She bonded out following her arrest.

Online court records show Holloman will make her first court appearance in White County Court on February 27 at 9 a.m.

Twenty-eight-year-old Matthew R. Snelling of New Haven was arrested at a traffic stop around 6:20 p.m. Monday at Church and Iris for Driving while License Suspended. Snelling was also cited for Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Operation of Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration due to Mandatory Insurance. Snelling’s bond was set at $250 plus a booking fee. Snelling bonded out following his arrest.

Online court records did not show when Snelling would make a court appearance.

Thirty-five-year-old Kinzy N. Williams of Carmi was arrested at a traffic stop at Rock Bottom Liquor on West Main around 10:45 p.m. Monday on two Wayne County traffic violation warrants, Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Use of Property and Possession of Hypodermic Needles/Syringes. Williams was also cited for Failure to Use Turn Signal and Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

According to online court records, Williams had a first appearance in White County Court on February 14. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 13 at 10 a.m.
