MARION – The Marion Police Department released the following information on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023.

Amanda Goines, 29, of Marion was issued a citation for Retail Theft at Walmart on Oct. 6, 2023.

Wallace Payton, Jr., 23, of Marion was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Battery on Oct. 6, 2023 in the 700 block of Vicksburg Street.

Kaitlynn Abernathy, 21, of Zeigler was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use/Possession of a Weapon-No FOID Card and Resisting/Obstructing a Police Officer on October 7, 2023 in the area of North Garfield Street and East Reeves.

Lonnell Petty, 22, of Marion was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of Ammunition, Resisting/Obstructing a Police Officer, Obstructing Justice, Driving While License Suspended  and No Valid Registration on Oct. 7, 2023 in the area of North Garfield Street and East Reeves.

Jessica Poole, 41, of Marion was arrested for Theft in the 2800 block of Outer Drive on Oct. 7, 2023.
