NASHVILLE – A 27-year-old Anna man was arrested Friday in Washington County on a felony charge of fentanyl delivery.
Christopher Edwards was taken to the Washington County Jail and was later formally charged in court with Class X felony delivery of between 15 and 100 grams of fentanyl as well as Class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance.
Edwards pleaded guilty last month in Union County Court to a Class 4 felony count of possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced in that case to three years in prison, but the sentence was suspended in lieu of a term of probation.
He was also scheduled for a status hearing in Washington County Court next week on a petition to revoke his probation on a 2020 case charging him with Class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance.
