MARION – Mona Rae Yarbrough Leach, 87, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in Baptist Health – Elizabethtown, KY at 4:42 p.m.

Mona was born October 28, 1935 in Harrisburg, Illinois to Samuel and Effie (Dunn) Bristow. She died in Christ trusting in her salvation.

She was preceded in death by her former husband Gordon Yarbrough, parents, several brothers and sisters.

Mona is survived by her husband Neil Leach; daughters Diane Yarbrough (Willie) Wells and Susan Yarbrough (Tim) Wiley; sister Barbara (Tony) Long; grandchildren Jennifer Stewart, Stephanie Woods, Sarah Wells, and Bryce Wiley; great grandchildren Kaidyn, Parker, Wyatt, Kane, Raelynn, and Ayla.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2023 at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, Illinois with Pastor Scott Pittman officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. prior to the service.
