MARION – The Marion Police Department released the following information on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026.
Larry D. Shupe Jr., 50, of West Frankfort, was arrested Jan. 8, 2026, for retail theft and resisting a police officer at the Walmart.
Zachary R. Murkin, 33, of Irving, was arrested Jan. 8, 2026, for unlawful possession of cannabis in the 800 block of Court Street.
Brianne M. Mitchell, 36, of Johnston City, was arrested Jan. 8, 2026, for retail theft at the Walmart.
Jimmie Rhodes, 50, of Belleville, was arrested Jan. 9, 2026, for domestic battery in the 1300 block of Enterprise Way.
Edward W. Mitchell, 48, of Benton, was arrested Jan. 9, 2026, for driving on a suspended license and cellphone use while driving in the 3100 block of Outer Drive.
Karen L. Mattingly, 37, of Carterville, was arrested Jan. 9, 2026, for driving on a suspended license in the 2800 block of DeYoung Street.
Stephanie M. Garland, 37, of Marion, was arrested Jan. 9, 2026, for criminal trespass in the 1600 block of Calico Drive.
Vanessa J. Garland, 40, of Marion, was arrested Jan. 9, 2026, for violation of pretrial release in the 1600 block of Calico Drive.
David M. Taylor, 48, of Marion, was arrested Jan. 10, 2026, for driving on a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the area of Vicksburg Street and Boulevard Street.
Jason J. Cooper, 41, of Marion, was arrested Jan. 10, 2026, for criminal trespass in the 1300 block of Carbon Street.
Gavin J. Stritzel, 24, of Johnston City, was arrested Jan. 11, 2026, for domestic battery and aggravated battery in the 600 block of Garfield Street.
Ian M. Copeland, 49, of Marion, was arrested Jan. 12, 2026, for driving on a revoked license in the area of DeYoung Street and Old Bainbridge Trail.
David C. Schoenecke, 73, of Marion, was arrested Jan. 12, 2026, for domestic battery in the 300 block of Main Street.
Amanda J. Randolph, 35, of Carbondale, was arrested Jan. 12, 2026, for possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia in the area of Market Street and Golf Course Road.
Michael W. Lightly, 38, of Marion, was arrested Jan. 12, 2026, for possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia in the area of Market Street and Golf Course Road.
