WHITTINGTON – Two lanes of northbound I-57 near Whittington were shut down for a few hours after a semi hauling a trailer overturned around 4:40 Monday morning.

According to Illinois State Police, the affected lanes reopened at 8:45 a.m. No injuries were reported.
