CRAB ORCHARD LAKE – A 17-year-old driver from Cambria was injured and taken to an area hospital with injuries following a one-vehicle crash on Illinois 13 just west of Shawnee Trail at Crab Orchard Lake Wednesday afternoon.

According to Illinois State Police, the driver was going east in a single lane construction zone when for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway to the right, traveled down an embankment and struck a tree.

ISP says no further information is available.
