JOHNSTON CITY – Work to replace the bridge carrying I-57 over Stiritz Road near Johnston City will start Monday, weather permitting, according to IDOT.

To complete the work, Stiritz Road will be closed from Dublin Road to Illinois 37. Access for local traffic on Stiritz Road between these limits will be maintained at all times.

The closure is expected to remain in effect until Sept. 1 of next year.
