MARION – The Marion Police Department released the following information on Monday, April 14, 2025.

Anthony Alvardo, 44, of Marion was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon in the 1800 block of Bittle Place on March 20, 2025.

LuShawna Morris, 26, of Herrin was arrested for Motor Vehicle Theft in the 1800 block of Bittle Place on April 10, 2025.

David Bennett, 57, of Marion was issued a citation for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid a Accident in the area of DeYoung Street and Logan Street on April 10, 2025.

Crystal Tucker, 39, of Sesser was issued a citation for Driving on Suspended License in the area of Jackson Street and Granite Street on April 10, 2025.

Cedric Lifter, 58, of Carbondale was arrested for Obstructing Justice in the 2800 block of Outer Drive on April 10, 2025.

Jonita Gaston, 31, of Murphysboro was arrested for Retail Theft at Walmart on April 10, 2025.

Jessica Lemetti, 38, of Hawesville, KY, was arrested for Driving on Suspended License in the area Boyton Street and Cedar Lane on April 10, 2025.

Ray Williams Jr., 37, of Marion was arrested for Forgery and Retail Theft in the 800 block of Russell Street on April 11, 2025.
