Yuvette “Vetta” Summers 78, of Thompsonville passed away on Monday March 30, 2026 in Midtown Hospital in Evansville at 8:14pm.

She was born on May 19, 1947 in Johnston City to Marvin and Helen (Haseker) Eberhart.

Vetta was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Dean Summers and her parents.

She is survived by her sons Toby Summers and Greg( Karen) Summers; sisters Jenia Eberhart; brothers M.L. Eberhart, Don Eberhart, and Mike Eberhart; brother-in-law Gail Summers; grandchildren Mike and Abby Summers and Victoria “Tori” Summers; 2 great-grandchildren Sam and Cooper; along with several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Thursday April 2, 2026 in the Union Funeral Home at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 9:00am to 11:00am prior to the service.
