MARION – The Marion Police Department released the following information on Monday, February 23, 2026.

Leland G. Patterson, 62, of Stonefort, was arrested Feb. 12 on Interstate 57 on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mark A. Johnson, 34, of East St. Louis, was arrested Feb. 16 in the 900 block of Court Street on a charge of possession of cannabis.

Bryan S. Stroud, 30, of Christopher, was arrested Feb. 12 in the 2800 block of Outer Drive on a charge of retail theft.

Kmetria A. Johnson, 21, of Marion, was arrested Feb. 18 near DeYoung and Carbon streets on charges of possession of cannabis and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Madeline R. Steves, 30, of Marion, was arrested Feb. 19 in the 2800 block of Outer Drive on charges of retail theft, possession of less than 5 grams of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance.

Knyia L. Fry, 24, of Herrin, was arrested Feb. 20 in the 2800 block of Outer Drive on a charge of retail theft.

Danesha L. Cooper, 41, of Marion, was arrested Feb. 20 near Main and 4th streets on charges of driving on a suspended license, possession of cannabis, aggravated assault and threatening a public official.

Carson E. Gee, 23, of Marion, was arrested Feb. 21 in the 1900 block of Bittle Place on a charge of domestic battery.

Preston D. Washington, 21, of Marion, was arrested Feb. 21 near Vicksburg and Chestnut streets on a charge of possession of cannabis.

Tristan B. Williams, 32, of Murphysboro, was arrested Feb. 21 in the 800 block of Court Street on charges of driving on a suspended license and manufacture or delivery of cannabis.

Damon D. Gray, 47, of Caseyville, was arrested Feb. 22 near The Hill Avenue and Stanford Street on a charge of driving on a revoked license.

Shelley R. Minson, 40, of Herrin, was arrested Feb. 22 in the 2800 block of Outer Drive on a charge of retail theft.
