MARION – The Marion Police Department released the following information on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025.

Scott R. Vreeland II, 35, of Royalton, was arrested for Aggravated Battery and Criminal Damage to Property in the 2700 block of DeYoung Street on Dec. 15, 2025.

Jaqueveon J. Smith, 22, of Harrisburg was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis in the 1000 block of Court Street on Dec. 18, 2025.

Ryan D. Russell, 28, of Herrin was arrested for Aggravated Battery, Domestic Battery, Endangering the Life of a Child and Leaving a Child in a Motor Vehicle in the 300 block of Red Row on Dec. 19, 2025.

Devhuntae M. Petty, 30, of Marion was arrested for Driving on a Suspended License and Possession of Cocaine in the area of Madison Street and Calvert Street on Dec. 21, 2025.

Christian N. Averitt, 22, of Herrin was arrested for Driving on a Suspended License in the area of DeYoung Street and Pentecost Drive on Dec. 21, 2025.
