HERRIN – A woman was cited for Felony Possession of Methamphetamine following a traffic stop in Herrin early Wednesday morning.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies saw the vehicle Bryan A. Pulliam was driving commit a traffic violation on 23rd Street around 1:45 a.m.

A Herrin Police K-9 unit responded and conducted a free air sniff that made a positive alert to the odor of illegal narcotics. A lawful search of the vehicle was done and a purse containing meth was found in the passenger floorboard.

The passenger, Crystal R. Pulliam, was taken into custody without incident.

Bryan Pulliam was cited for Failure to Signal and Operating an Uninsured Vehicle. He was released at the scene.

Upon arriving at the county jail, Crystal Pulliam said the meth found in the purse was hers and she had another bag of meth concealed in her crotch area.  A female correctional officer retrieved the bag in another room. She was then cited for the meth offense and booked into jail.
