METROPOLIS – A Metropolis man is facing charges in two separate incidents recently in Metropolis.

According to Metropolis Police, officers were called to the 600 block of Market on Monday, Sept. 29 after the caller said 63-year-old Jeffery A. Beal was found inside her vehicle when she left for work. Police found Beal in the vehicle. He was charged with Criminal Trespass to vehicle and released on a notice to appear.

Then on Wednesday, Oct. 1, Beal was arrested on Massac County warrants on 5th and Scott Street. The warrants were issued for Possession of Methamphetamine, Criminal Damage to Property and Criminal Trespass to Property. Beal was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
