HERRIN – Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies Monday afternoon recovered a 2010 Nissan Titan that had been reported stolen out of Jackson County Saturday and arrested the woman who stole it.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies saw the woman, identified as Jessica R. Walker, going north in the truck on Park Avenue in Herrin and pull into the Walmart parking lot.

Deputies boxed the truck in and took Walker into custody with incident. Deputies also found meth in her purse.

Walker was cited for Felony Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Driving While License Revoked and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – both misdemeanors.

Walker was booked into the Williamson County Jail.
