METROPOLIS – The Metropolis Police Department released the following information on Monday, April 14, 2025.

April 9, 2025
A Metropolis officer stopped a vehicle on Lois Lane. The driver, Leann McDuffee, 57, of Metropolis had a suspended driver’s license. She was charged with Driving while License Suspended and Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. She was released on a notice to appear.

April 10, 2025
Tori K. Farris, 29, of Metropolis was arrested in the 100 block of Metropolis Street. Farris was wanted on a warrant. The warrant was issued by McCracken County, KY, for a parole violation. She was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.

April 12, 2025
A Metropolis sergeant stopped a vehicle on East 5th Street and the Massac Creek bridge for no valid registration. A computer check on the driver, Tiffany R. Bryant, 42, of Metropolis showed that her driver’s license was suspended. She could not provide proof of insurance. Bryant was charged with Driving while License Suspended, Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and No Valid Registration. She was released on a notice to appear.

The preceding information pertains to an arrest made by the Metropolis Police Department. This arrest was made on the basis of probable cause and all arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
