MARION – The Marion Police Department released the following information on Monday, April 7, 2025. 

Ruby Purnell, 35, of Tunnel Hill was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property in the 100 block of Calvert Street on April 2, 2025.

Jarrod Jack, 45, of Marion was arrested for Resisting a Police Officer and Pedestrian Walking in the Roadway in the area of McLaren Street and McKinley Street on April 3, 2025.

Jordan Briggs, 33, of Carbondale was arrested for Retail Theft at Walmart on April 3, 2025.

Joe Buie, 55, of Herrin was arrested for Driving on Suspended License in the area of DeYoung Street and I-57 on April 4, 2025.
