MARION – The Marion Police Department released the following information on Monday, March 3, 2025.

Anthony Chaney, 26, of Marion was arrested for Aggravated Battery and Interference with the Reporting of a Domestic Battery in the 100 block of Gray Street on Feb. 23, 2025.

Bart Eberhardt, 29, of Carbondale was arrested for Criminal Trespass to Land in the 3000 block of DeYoung Street on Feb. 24, 2025.

Jimmy Walker, 69, of Marion was issued a citation for Violate Sex Offender Registry in the 1200 block of Enterprise Way on Feb. 25, 2025.

Ashley Messamore, 31, of Marion was arrested for Driving on Suspended License in the 1400 block of Howell Drive on Feb. 27, 2025.

Christopher Taulbee, 49, of Marion was arrested for Resisting a Police Officer in the 600 block Duncan Street on Feb. 27, 2025.

James Briggs, 35, of Morganfield, KY, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine in the area of Carbon Street and DeYoung Street on Feb. 28, 2025.

Savian Mitchell, 23, of Chicago was arrested for Unlawful Use of Cannabis while Driving and the use of a Cellular Communication Device while Driving in the 2700 block of Main Street on Feb. 28, 2025.

Mary Agin, 34, of Raleigh was arrested for Driving on Suspended License in the 2700 block of Walton Way on March 1, 2025.

Kristen Evrard, 34, of Marion has been arrested for Disorderly Conduct in the 3300 block of DeYoung Street on March 1, 2025.

James Bateman, 33, of Belleville has been arrested for Retail Theft at Walmart on March 1, 2025.

Robert Young, 44, of Murray, KY, was arrested for Retail Theft, Aggravated Fleeing of Police Officer and Reckless Driving at Menards and Dunn’s Sporting Goods on March 1, 2025.

Morgan Peeler, 37, of Murphysboro was arrested for Retail Theft at Walmart on March 2, 2025.
