BENTON – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office released the following information on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025.

2-16-25 Lindsey M. Wilkerson age 42 of Benton was arrested for unlawful possession of cannabis.

2-17-25 Skylyn E. Braden age 18 of Benton was issued traffic citations for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

2-19-25 Phyllis J. Yates, age 62, of Benton was issued traffic citations for no valid driver’s license and failure to signal.

2-19-25 Jennifer N. Eaton, age 42, of West Frankfort was arrested for domestic battery and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

2-20-25 David F. Ash, age 27, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

2-20-25 Lukas J. Fowler, age 24, of Thompsonville was issued a traffic citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

2-21-25 Tina N. Scott, age 45, of Carbondale was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of contraband in a penal institution and a failure to appear warrant for driving while license suspended.

2-22-25 Shaine M. Triplett, age 38, of Zeigler was arrested for battery.

2-22-25 John R. Case Jr., age 35, of West Frankfort was issued traffic citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and disobeying a stop sign.

2-23-25 Jason A. Brothers, age 46, of Centralia was arrested for driving while license suspended, a Jackson County failure to appear warrant for driving while license suspended and a Williamson County failure to appear warrant for driving while license suspended.

2-23-25 Matthew T. Murphy, age 21, of Christopher was issued a traffic citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

2-23-25 Breeonna N. Williams, age 34, of Fairview Heights was issued a traffic citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

WARRANT ARRESTS

2-13-25 Peyton J. Neff, age 32, of Du Quoin. Failure to appear for theft.

2-13-25 Labreeska A. Saylor, age 49, of Pittsburg. Failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine and a Williamson County warrant for failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine.

2-14-25 William E. Hansford, age 38, of Christopher. Failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine.

2-14-25 Stephen P. Makowan, age 45, of Christopher. Failure to appear for driving while license suspended, Cape Girardeau, MO failure to appear warrant for theft and a Monroe County failure to appear for retail theft.

2-14-25 Thomas S. Rector, age 35, of Dowell. Failure to appear for retail theft.

2-18-25 Jennifer R. Shelton, age 35, of West Frankfort. Failure to appear for resisting a Peace Officer.

2-21-25 Marissa F. Robertson, age 32, of Energy. Failure to appear for driving with a suspended registration.

The public is reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
