MARION – The following information was released this week by the Marion Police Department.

Friday, Feb. 14, 2025

Gerald Ellsworth, 46, of Marion was arrested for Violating Sex Offender Registry in the 1000 block of DeYoung Street on Feb. 12, 2025.

Moses Moultrie III, 45, of Marion was arrested for Violating Sex Offender Registry in the 1000 block of DeYoung Street on Feb. 12, 2025.

Lonnie Mathenia, 60, of Marion was arrested for Violating Sex Offender Registry in the 200 block of Future Street on Feb. 13, 2025.

Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025

Kevin Kafka, 54, of Murphysboro was arrested for Aggravated Battery in the area of North Court Street and West Union Street on Feb. 7, 2025.

Isaiah Vaughn, 20, of Marion has been arrested for Domestic Battery in the area of Hoover Road and Dufour Street on Feb. 10, 2025.
