HEROD – A woman fell a few feet from the observation trail at the Garden of the Gods in the Herod area over the weekend.

According to the Southern Illinois Fire Incidents Facebook page, Equality Fire and Rescue and Abbott EMS were called to the scene. The woman may have suffered a head injury. Air Evac was requested and she was taken to a regional hospital for treatment.
