CARBONDALE – The Carbondale Police Department invites you to come by the Department of Public Safety for an Open House on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to noon. The Department of Public Safety is located at 501 S. Washington St.

You will be able to do a walking tour of the facility and speak with members of various departments including Investigations, Crime Scene/Evidence, Patrol, Support Services, and Telecommunications. There will also be police vehicles on display and a K9 demonstration. Anyone is welcome to attend. It will not be necessary to sign up for the event.
