MARION – The Williamson County Highway Department says Jordan’s Fort Road will be closed at the bridge located just north of the Dean Road intersection as of 2 p.m. today due to mine subsidence.

Jordan’s Fort Road will reopen upon satisfactory inspection or repair of the road and bridge.

Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes while this work is completed.
