MT. VERNON – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 25-year-old suspect in connection with a shooting incident Friday night in Bonnie.

According to the sheriff’s office, Lief “Allistar” Booker is being sought in connection with shooting 55-year-old Jerry C. Collins with bird shot. Collins suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident reportedly took place at a home in the 300 block of South 9th Street in Bonnie, where the two reportedly lived together.

An investigation into the incident and the search for Booker continues.
