NASHVILLE – Funeral services for a 42-year-old Mt. Vernon pilot killed last week when crop dusting in Washington County have been set for later this week.

Donald Pruett’s funeral will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Central Christian Church in Mt. Vernon.

Pruett was killed last Monday when his helicopter crashed in Washington County. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

In addition to flying helicopters for crop dusting, Pruett served as captain of Air Evac 11.
