MARION – Marion Police found an illegal weapon and thousands of dollars in cash during a traffic stop Saturday afternoon.

Police say they pulled the driver over around 12:50 p.m. for multiple traffic infractions. Police spoke to the driver who consented to a search of the vehicle. That’s when police found the illegal weapon known as a “Ghost Gun” and over $63,000 in case.

Police have not released the driver’s name at this time. The driver was taken into custody and lodged in the Williamson County Jail pending an initial court appearance.
