
MARION – The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to host the 24th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day Saturday.
It will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building on North Monroe Street in Marion. This service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
The sheriff’s office will collect tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs, Liquids (including intravenous solutions), syringes and other sharps. Illegal drugs will not be accepted.
Helping people dispose of potentially harmful prescription drugs is just one way the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and the DEA are working together to reduce addiction and stem overdose deaths.
