
BUSH – The railroad crossing on Illinois 149 at Bush, just north of Hurst, will be closed late next week for repair work.
According to IDOT, starting Thursday, April 27 at 8 a.m., crews from the Union Pacific Railway Company will be performing repairs on the crossing. Repairs should be finished by 6 p.m. that evening. No traffic will be allowed through the crossing during repairs.
You should use the marked detour to avoid the work area. You are urged to pay close attention to changed conditions and signs in the work zones, obey the posted speed limits, refrain from using mobile devices and be alert for workers and equipment.
