MARION – Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies had their hands full with a Marion woman during a traffic stop Saturday on North Market Street in Marion.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, the driver, identified as Alicia M. Klisnick, was informed of the reason for the stop and immediately became argumentative.

During the traffic stop, a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia. Klisnick was arrested, handcuffed and placed in the back of the patrol vehicle.

As the deputy was escorting Klisnick to his patrol vehicle, she became irate and attempted to pull away from him multiple times. Once placed in the back seat, Klisnick refused to put her feet inside of the patrol vehicle. The deputy had to force her feet inside. As soon as he shut the door, Klisnick began kicking the rear passenger’s window. As a result, multiple deputies were attempting to stop Klisnick from harming herself or breaking the patrol vehicle window. Deputies opened the back passenger door attempting to calm Klisnick during which time she head-butted and kicked a deputy in the groin.

Kilsnick was cited for suspended vehicle registration, possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and aggravated battery to a peace officer. She was taken to and released to the custody of the Williamson County Jail.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office thanks Williamson County State’s Attorney Ted Hampson and his office for their assistance.
