ULLIN – Three juvenile suspects have been taken into custody without incident in connection with the alleged criminal sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl recently in Mounds.
According to Illinois State Police, Mounds Police requested help from the Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation to investigate the incident allegedly done on Feb. 21 by three juvenile males. One is age 15 while the other two are 17 years of age.
On Feb. 24, as a result of a thorough investigation, ISP agents were able to secure an arrest warrant from the Pulaski County State’s Attorney’s Office for aggravated criminal sexual assault for each of the three juvenile suspects.
