SOUTHERN ILLINOIS – Illinois State Police Zone 8 recently released the results of Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement (ACE) surveillance at various establishments in the seven counties it serves during June. Three of those counties are in our area – Gallatin, Saline and White.

These details were conducted to determine which businesses may be selling alcoholic beverages to minors.

In Gallatin County, Jacs Place LLC in Equality was found selling alcohol to minors.

Businesses in Saline County that were found selling alcohol to minors include Aldi in Harrisburg, Casey’s General Store in Carrier Mills, JD’s Video Gaming and Liquors in Harrisburg, ROC One Stop in Carrier Mills and Speakeasy Liquors in Harrisburg.

Businesses in White County that were found selling alcohol to minors include Road Ranger in Grayville, Rock Bottom Liquors in Carmi and Silver Dollar Gaming in Carmi.
