Three Arrested after Weekend Home Invasion in Carbondale

CARBONDALE – Three people were arrested following a reported home invasion in the 400 block of South Marion Street in Carbondale Saturday morning.

According to Carbondale Police, officers found two suspects identified in the forced entry of a home of an acquaintance and pursued them on foot. Officers captured two male suspects identified as 19-year-old Quantez D. McGee of Carbondale and 19-year-old Keavonte T. Nesby of De Soto.

The investigation revealed McGee and Nesby forced their way inside the home of acquaintances, battered them and damaged property.  Officers charged McGee and Nesby with home invasion. Nesby was additionally charged with battery and criminal damage to property. McGee and Nesby were lodged in the Jackson County Jail. Officers also arrested 21-year-old Daronta Q. Nesby of Carbondale for intimidation of a witness. Nesby was lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
