HARRISBURG – State Rep. Patrick Windhorst is joining with the Harrisburg Police Department for a free drug takeback event Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. The event will take place at the parking lot across the street from the Presbyterian Annex Building, located at 21 W. Locust St. in Harrisburg.
Medications, vitamins, ointments, lotions, or creams must be contained in sealed, closed containers in order to be accepted. Items that will not be accepted include needles, syringes, EPI pens and other sharps, inhalers, aerosol cans, mercury thermometers, illegal drugs including cannabis products, or prescription drugs that do not belong to the individual. The event is free of charge and individuals participating will remain anonymous.
