District-wide registration will be done online or in-person. In-person registration will still be done online, and computer access will be provided at the Senior High building.
Online registration got underway Monday. In-person registration takes place Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. or Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. No pictures will be taken at registration this year. Pictures will be taken later in the school year.
Due to all the COVID issues with the last school year and the uncertainty of this school year, the Unit 10 administration and board of education have approved the following fees be waived for this school year: $30 registration fee, $20 technology fee, $3 handbook fee for grades 5-12, the course fee for junior and senior high and the athletic fees for the elementary and junior and senior high. Fees that won’t be waived include the $10 P.E. uniform fee for junior high students, a $6 P.E. locker fee, a $100 driver’s education fee for senior high students and all Rend Lake College dual credit class fees.
Any or all fees owed from last school year must be paid in full at the time of registration as these fees do not qualify for the waiver.
All students in the district will receive free breakfast and lunch again for this school year. This does not include seconds or bottle water at the junior and senior high. Junior and Senior High students must qualify for their free breakfast and lunch only if they include the entrees and sides that are determined at the time.
