CARMI – White County Sheriff Randy Graves is warning residents in White County about a recent scam.
Sheriff Graves says the scam was reported Friday regarding a person calling advising the United States Customs had seized a package with their name on it. The person on the other line acted liked they were a police officer asking for the person’s information.
The sheriff says to not give out any of your personal information over the phone.
