BENTON – The Rend Lake Water Festival gets underway Wednesday and runs through Saturday in Benton.
There will be a carnival by Brady’s Amusements on the northeast corner of the Benton Square Wednesday through Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 10 p.m.
A talent contest will be held at the Doug Collins and John Malkovich Event Center on East Forest Street Wednesday at 6 p.m.
There will be a parade with antique tractors, floats, vehicle bands and fun Saturday morning at 10:02 a.m. on West Main.
A vendor fair will also be held on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. on North Main.
