Public Meeting on I-57/64-Illinois 15 Interchange Set for April 26

MT. VERNON – IDOT will host a public meeting for you to learn more and comment about the preliminary engineering and environmental study for improvements to the Interstate 57/64 interchange with Illinois 15 in Mount Vernon.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at the Roland Lewis Community Building, located at 800 S. 27th St. in Mt. Vernon, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The meeting’s purpose is to provide an overview of the study process and schedule, present the project’s proposed improvements and obtain public input.

The study is necessary to address safety concerns and evaluate the interchange capacity and mobility improvements to reduce delays.

You can view exhibits, maps, leave comments and ask questions of IDOT and the project consultant. Comments also can be provided until May 10 via the project website at https://projectmeetingonline.com/mt-vernon-interchange-at-il-15/.

Comments received by mail and postmarked before May 10 will become part of the official public meeting record. Written comments not submitted via the website should be sent to:
