CARBONDALE – East Jackson Street from North Illinois Avenue to west of the CN Railroad crossing in Carbondale will be closed to all traffic this week so a contractor can reconstruct the intersection as part of the downtown streetscape project. You should use alternate routes.
Local traffic can utilize Jackson Street from the east to access businesses and the Town Square Pavilion parking lot.
