CARMI – A Norris City man was sentenced in White County Monday afternoon to the Illinois Department of Corrections in connection with a high-speed chase that happened in May of last year.
White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud says 19-year-old Issac D. Anderson will spend two years in IDOC for aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer – a Class 4 felony. Anderson will also serve one year of mandatory supervised release after his time in prison.
Aud says Anderson was arrested after leading a Grayville Police officer in a high-speed chase from just south of Grayville to just south of Mt. Carmel where he was arrested after the use of stop/spike sticks by the Mt. Carmel Police Department.
