MT. VERNON – The Mt. Vernon Police Department is investigating a Thursday bomb threat at Lowe’s.
Mt. Vernon Police Chief Trent Page confirmed there was a threat reported to the store, but at this time due to the nature of an active investigation, he could share nothing more.
Law enforcement cleared the entire building after the threat came through. The store has since reopened for business.
The incident is still under investigation.
