MARION – Marion Unit 2 students will be in school on Fridays starting the week of March 22.
The Marion Unit 2 School Board Monday night voted 4 to 2 to allow in-person learning five days a week from 8 a.m. to noon. Students have been going to school four days a week with remote learning on Fridays for most of this school year.
Officials say remote learning will remain an option for students. Teachers will have to allow more time to plan for those students.
