Man Wanted in Late February Shooting in Carbondale Now Behind Bars

CARBONDALE – A Carbondale man wanted in connection with a Feb. 25 shooting in the 200 block of East Sycamore Street in Carbondale is now behind bars in Jackson County.

Carbondale Police say they learned Monday night that 27-year-old Jalen Cobb turned himself in at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office in reference to the incident.

Cobb is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and lodged in the Jackson County Jail.
