JALC and Black Diamond RV to Offer RV Care and Maintenance Class

MARION – In recent years purchases and rentals of RVs in the U.S. have boomed. In fact, according to the RV Industry Association, RV sales in some areas increased as much as 170 percent during the height of the Pandemic. With more RVs on the road, the need for basic maintenance and care has also increased.

To help meet the demand, the John A. Logan College Community Education Department has partnered with Black Diamond RV to offer RV 101, Essentials of Recreational Vehicles. The three-session course meets from 8 a.m. to noon on September 25, October 2, and October 9. Instructor William Ellis will teach participants how to save money and extend the life of their RV.

The course cost is $120, and the first ten to register will receive a discounted rate of $70. Classes will meet at Black Diamond RV, located at 2405 Black Diamond Dr. in Marion.
