SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Monday reported 1,143 new COVID-19 cases in Illinois, including 20 additional deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 1,187,839 cases, including 20,536 deaths, in Illinois.
The preliminary seven-day statewide positivity for cases as a percent of total test from Feb. 22–28 is 2.4%. The preliminary seven-day statewide test positivity from Feb. 22–28 is 2.7%.
64 new COVID-19 cases were reported in southern Illinois Monday according to information we received and compiled from area health departments.
A total of doses of 2,740,105 vaccine have been delivered to providers in Illinois, including Chicago. In addition, approximately 443,700 doses total have been allocated to the federal government’s Pharmacy Partnership Program for long-term care facilities. This brings the total Illinois doses to 3,183,805.
A total of 2,756,831 vaccines have been administered so far in Illinois, including 319,393 for long-term care facilities. The 7-day rolling average of vaccines administered daily is 77,876 doses. On Sunday, 50,897 doses were administered in Illinois.
