BENTON – Franklin Hospital in Benton will be handing out free colon cancer take home tests while supplies last on Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at the hospital, located at 201 Bailey Lane in Benton.
These tests are for those interested in taking the first step in preventing colon cancer.
Volunteers from the hospital will be stationed in front of the hospital under the canopy to distribute these tests in a “drive-thru” fashion so no one will have to leave their vehicles.
Registration is not necessary. The completed test kit can be dropped off in the lobby of the hospital in a designated box. Test results will be sent to the patient after testing is completed.
This free testing is sponsored by the American Cancer Society and open to the general public.
