Four Charged Following Weekend Shooting in Carbondale

CARBONDALE – Four people are facing charges after Carbondale Police responded to the 300 block of East Walnut Street regarding a complaint of shots fired around 5:40 Saturday morning.

Police say during the course of the investigation, officers located and arrested several persons involved.

Forty-year-old Riley L. Little of Murphysboro was arrested and charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon. Little was lodged in the Jackson County Jail.  

Thirty-six-year-old Amy L. Jordan of Murphysboro was charged with obstructing justice. Jordan was released pending court appearances. Additionally, charges are pending against two juveniles who were arrested in the course of the investigation. Both were charged with obstructing justice and one was additionally charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
