SALEM – A 63-year-old Fairfield man who was part of a multi-agency drug operation in 2018 was sentenced Thursday in Marion County Court to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to delivery of methamphetamine.
Steven Cook was one of seven people arrested in the operation. Initially he was charged with three counts of unlawful delivery of 5 to 15 grams of meth.
He pleaded guilty Thursday to one count in exchange for the others being dismissed.
Cook was the sixth person arrested in the operation and was taken into custody by Fairfield Police on a Marion County warrant.
