PADUCAH/CARMI – The National Weather Service in Paducah says an EF-1 tornado caused some damage in White County Wednesday evening.
The tornado produced 100 mile per hour winds and traveled 7.9 miles. The maximum width was 400 yards.
At least a dozen houses had shingle damage. A few sheds had extensive damage with one being completely destroyed. Dozens of trees were uprooted or snapped. One small boat was blown into a pond. Power poles and lines were down along the path. No injuries were reported.
