MARION – In an effort to keep more students in the classroom, the Marion Unit 2 School District is partnering with the Illinois Department of Public Health to hold a free vaccination clinic for the public on Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Marion High School.
The FDA recently approved Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be available for those 16 years and older. It also continues to be available under emergency use authorization for individuals 12 to 15 years old.
Per most recent IDPH guidelines, if an individual is fully vaccinated, it is not necessary that they quarantine if they are exposed to COVID-19.
Walk-ins are welcome. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to get vaccinated.
