MT. VERNON – The Cedarhust Art and Craft Fair will be held this Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Mt. Vernon.
The event will run from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The cost will be $5. Children 10 and under get in for free.
Pay-to-park lots are available on and near the Cedarhurst campus.
Shop more than 90 booths – including up to 20 new artists. The variety of artists this year will be offering glass, jewelry, metal, fiber, wood, photography, 2-D art, ceramics and up-cycled art creations.
Food concessions will be offered by All Shook Up, Angel’s on Assignment, Bryn’s Cookie Bin, Jefferson County Fraternal Order of Police, Jefferson County Historical Society, Smokin’ T’s BBQ, and the YMCA of Jefferson County.
A Beer Garden has been added this year featuring craft brews from Baum’s Bauhaus. Beer, wine and soda will be offered at the Beverage Tents.
Music over the three-day event will feature Ivas John & Brian Curran, Eastwood Frisch & Polly Launay, Kaylene Vineyard, Tim Crosby, Josh Nelson, Del Herbert Duo, Heather Hammers, Devin Williams, and Jamie Nattier.
Major sponsors of the 2022 Art & Craft Fair are Peoples National Bank, Pepsi MidAmerica, and SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital.
